Outer thermal insulation of buildings

One of the most effective way to lower the heat energy use of buildings is the outer insulation of the facade. In 40% the heat loss of a building appears on the walls, so people with a facade insulation can save a lot of money and energy. It is also advised to switch old windows and doors to new ones.

The outer thermal insulation can be done with thermal insulating plastering, polystyrene panels or rockwool panels. The insulation of the facade has several advantages: it helps to protect the structure of the building and protects mechanical pipes from frost. It can prevent molding too. It also makes the building look better.

It lowers the energy use for heating and cooling, so it’s good for the environment as well.
